W7 Cosmetics Review

April 30, 2016

Hey my love!

Another day, another blog post!

This time round it’s a little review on w7. A brand i’ve used like twice. So for me it’s quite new. And i’ve been using and playing around with these makeup products seeing if i love them or hate them and want to forget about their existence. Keep reading to find out what i thought!

W7 is a brand that, i will admit never really caught my eye. But i recently discovered a shop near me that sells so much W7 it’s unreal. I started to think, hmm maybe this brand just needs a chance to shine for me.  So when w7 kindly sent me these in the post i was quite excited. Previously i had used the In the buff palette and it was a good product, a great dupe for the naked palettes by urban decay. But i’d never tried anything other than eyeshadows by them.

I have been so surprised at how awesome these products actually are. They’re super affordable and work well. It’s all well and good having a tonne of high end makeup that cost an absolute bomb, but i think every girl needs some drugstore goodies in their life. Why do we go spend £15 – £20 on a mascara when we could spend like, £5? A lot of beauty bloggers and vloggers have been questioning this, doing the same makeup with drug store products that they’d do with high end products. The difference isn’t really noticeable. Let’s give these affordable, practical brands more love! There’s nothing wrong with looking good and saving money at the same time!

The product i love most out of these goodies (although they are all amazing) has the be the Tinted nourishing lip oil. I wouldn’t say it gave my lips a lot of colour, but actually that’s kinda what ‘tinted’ means haha!

I really dislike lip glosses, but i love this. I think it is basically a more moisturising version of lipgloss, maybe i just don’t know what i’m talking about, who knows heh heh.

But anyway, seriously. This stuff makes my lips feel so smooth, hydrated and just ahhhhh. I’ve been really feeling off lipsticks lately because i feel no matter what colour i choose i still look like a sloth. Oh the joys. So nice glossy lips feels like a refreshing change. Genuinely i’ve overdosed on lipstick.

The blusher ‘cheeky chaps’ is so pretty, i don’t know if your supposed to use just one shade but i used the lot, it worked well and surprisingly didn’t look multicoloured. It gives such a nice healthy glow. Best blusher i’ve used so far.

The mascara is like a major throwback for me, i always used to use the rimmel bright yellow one and this is exactly like that. It’s like ‘hello again my friend, i’ve missed you’ I love the chunkiness of the wand and the volume it gives to your lashes.

And lastly, the waves eyeshadow palette. This amazes me way too much. Like, the colours all blend in to each other, it’s pretty and clever. They’re nice cream, nude and brown shades. My fave, yessss. I’ve never had a problem with w7 eyeshadows and that’s not gonna change anytime soon, this one impresses me just as much as the in the buff palette.

In the look i’ve added below wearing these products, i’m sorry i went a little overboard on the cranberry shade out of another palette. Kinda a big letdown because you can’t see the gorgeousness of the eyeshadows by w7, i’m sorry. 🙁

As always, i’d love to hear your thoughts on this brand. Share the love beauties!

I discovered W7 products a while ago and I purchased many things, the only products that did not like so much was two shimmery lipsticks that looked ridiculous on my lips haha! All the other products worked amazing and I am impressed! 🙂

I absolutely love W7 cosmetics, I have quite a few of their pieces and they are such good quality and some are really good dupes for high end products. I really want to try the blush you mentioned now, looks gorgeous. Also love the makeup look you did!
