It’s pretty much known to everyone that I have a love / hate relationship with false lashes. Some days i’m pro at applying and they look so seamless and perfect. Then other days ( more than less) i’m absolutely useless, I end up with glue all over my fingers and my eyelids and a lash hanging off my eyebrow. Yes that’s actually happened once haha. So when Threads lashes recently got in touch with me I was excited but nervous for the possible fail of my life.
I picked two styles. Vava Voom and Emiloo. I chose these two because I felt like they were kind of day and night for me personally. When they arrived I was like, okay this could go one of two ways. My fate now lies with the application of these lashes.
I did some research on their site and found out they are hand made and that the lash band is extra flexible for a comfortable wear. They are also made with feather weight technology. I’m not quite sure what that means though being perfectly honest. The RRP for these gorgeous lashes is £9.00 which is fairly pricey. The big question is, are they worth it??
So, here’s the low down of my experience with these lashes. They come with lash glue which I always think is a plus. There’s nothing worse than buying a pair, getting home and realising you have no glue. Unless you’re a lash addict and have glue anyway. I’m not that person so I didn’t have any. They felt really soft and not too stiff which I liked, it meant they was more easy to apply. I found the first lash a little harder to apply because I hadn’t worn any in ages but by the time I got to the second one it was so much easier for me to apply. My application wasn’t perfect, i’m still learning. But I do love the feeling of having sassy, big lashes. I wouldn’t wear so much during the day but if I was on a night out then these would be the ones I use. They’re gorgeous. If you look after your lashes well then you could use again.
