This crazy new beauty box called powder

February 3, 2016

Hello beautiful!

First of all, happy hump day! Halfway through the week means we’re nearly at the weekend!

To get you through the week i’ve got a review on this crazy new (i think) beauty box. Now you’ve heard of Birch Box, Ipsy etc but theres a new box on the scene, and damn they’re hot!

So what is this mysterious new box you ask?! I present to you Powder! Now that sounds kind of crazy, but thats what its called. And its beautiful. Even the box is gorgeous. It’s simplistic yet elegant. And its filled jam packed full of goodies personalised for you. How? they simply ask a few questions about your hair type, skin type etc and get packing lots of goodies you will love. It’s good because lets be honest, getting a cleanser for oily skin when you have dry is a let down. But with powder that isn’t an issue. The box is tailored around you. Unlike birch box this isn’t a subscription thing. You pay for one box which i like because I’m poor 90% of the time.

So the big question everyone wants to know the answer to first. Is it expensive? Well no it’s not really. It is £35 rrp of over £100 So you’re making a big save. The products are good quality too. Which you expect for that price obviously. They also deliver the next day which makes me v v happy.

Now the packing of this box is so cute it’s unreal. The box is like a pastel pink with white writing. The products are on top of some shredded tissue paper and wrapped in tissue paper to with a little sticker. Oh and the paper is like a gorgeous shade of blue. It’s so pretty to look at i didn’t want to open it. Inside you get a little leaflet explaining each product and some discount vouchers. It also tells you how to use each product and when the best time to. That part i loved because it helps you use the product and means if you liked one of the items you get money of when buying again. Its basically perfect.

Inside the box contains:

  • Sanctuary Spa Warming Detox Charcoal Wash
  • Benefit The Porefessional
  • Rimmel 24H Supercurler Mascara
  • L’oreal Professional Infinium Extra Strong Hairspray
  • Balance Me Restore and Replenish Cream Ceanser
  • Alpha-H liquid Gold
  • L’oreal Professional Dual Stylers by Techni Artliss & Pump Up
  • Caudalie Polyphenol c15 Anti-Wrinkle Eye and Lip cream
  • Merumaya Youth Preservation Moisturiser SPF15
  • Starskin After Party Brightening Bio-cellulose Second Skin Face Mask
  • TRESemme 7 Day Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner
  • St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion

Honestly i can’t wait to use every one of these products, i will do a few reviews to in the upcoming weeks so keep an eye out for that. Would love to know if you’ve ever tried Powder or want to after reading this? Or have you used any of these products and love them? Make sure to comment!

lovely detailed post on a product I can see becoming very popular, and the fact you don’t have to subscribe is so suitable for people who’s bank account is not always Blinging. 🙂 x

This sounds right up my street! I’ve always wanted to try a beauty box but have been hesitant because of not wanting to subscribe to something I might not necessarily always love… But the products you’ve received are great! And not having to do a monthly subscription!? Definitely going to look into Powder, thank you! 😀 xo
