My Skincare Saviour – Sudocrem Skincare Cream Review

Hello my gorgeous readers!

Lately I’ve been super busy and everyday life has been stressful to say the least. I recently said goodbye to my grandad who sadly passed away and I’m now at college. Don’t worry this isn’t a massive post on me complaining about life, but I don’t want you wondering where the heck is Abbey?! I’m here guys!

So anyway, todays post is all about my latest skincare saviour which I was recently sent to review. I’m so glad I got sent this product, it’s not so much new to me because I’ve used their products since forever. The product is the Sudocrem Skin Care Cream, now usually I use the normal original tub which is multi purpose. And if you’re sat their wondering yes, it’s most known for being nappy rash cream which mums use on babies. Well it also works amazing on the skin. But I didn’t realise until now that there was a version for your skin alone. So I was super excited to try and see if it works as well as the original. Apparently the tube is more gentle on your skin than the tub. To be perfectly honest I haven’t ever had a problem with the tub.

There’s so many uses for Sudocrem. This skin care cream can be used as a moisturiser, a mask or for spots. My main use for this is for the breakouts I suffer when under stress. My face has been freaking out this last week. I’ve had painful spots everywhere. Mainly my chin, cheeks and forehead. Basically everywhere. It’s been a nightmare. I went into college with no makeup on ready for practical first lesson and I could have cried, I was so self conscious but thankfully I have amazing friends who reassured me it was fine. But still, I felt pretty awful. Luckily this cream had my back. I’ve been applying every night and sending gorgeous snap chats with it all on of course. And I can safely say it’s helped my skin a tonne. It hasn’t made them completely disappear overnight. But it’s defiantly reduced the redness and sped up the healing process.  My massive painful spots cleared up within 2 – 3 days where as usually it would take I week.

I’ve also been using it for the eczema I have on my eyelid. How I got it in the first place I don’t know. It’s just a tiny patch on my left eyelid which gets pretty sore when removing makeup. But Sudocrem soothes it so much. I’m not sure that it’s defiantly that though, it could be psoriasis or dermatitis. I don’t know, I’ve not been to a doctor so unless you think it’s okay to put it on your skin then don’t. I personally haven’t had a problem.

I’m so gonna use as a face mask tonight because I feel I’m so in need of a pamper after this week.  So more gorgeous snap chat pictures are coming haha!

I basically love this product, it’s a must in my skincare routine. Please do tell me your thoughts on it and if you love, hate or never tried it.

Until next time,

A x

I’m so glad you did a post on Sudo Cream! I love using it for so many different things, but mainly for when I’m suffering with break outs. It’s one of the only few things I find actually works and makes a big difference. Who would have thought it, ey?xx

Oh brilliant! I think I’ll have to get the tube version – I’m in love with Sudocrem tubs. I use it for rashes and I’ve never thought to use it as a mask but I definitely will now.
