I don’t wear makeup all the time and when i do it tends to be more minimal, no eyeliner, bold lipstick. That kind of jazz. If i’m going out for a meal or the rare occasion i go into town on a night out (very rare) i will switch it up and go a little more bold on my makeup. I didn’t do eyeliner because i’d lost it, it’s literally gone and i can’t find it anywhere and my false lashes were just not staying on and because i got glue on my lashes they went all sticky and weird hence my mascara looks more like spiders legs. I was having a major bad lash day so being me, i gave up haha. Nope, thats it you can go straight in the bin. Nuh uh not today. I’ve learnt that the glue you get with Primark lashes just doesn’t work for me. That was my first time trying them and if i was to ever buy again i’d defiantly use a different glue.
To prime my face i used the Monu illuminating primer which i love so much, i think it’s amazing for giving foundation a soft, glowing look. For foundation i used my absolute fave, the Chanel Vita Lumiere. I will be so sad when this runs out and it’s getting to that point. Waaaaah. As always to conceal/ highlight my under eyes, chin, nose and forehead i used the Maybelline Eraser Eye. I then went ahead and set all that with the Chanel Natural Finish Loose powder. To contour i used the smash box shape matters palette and i used the same palette to highlight. Another cult fave of mine.
My brow routine basically never changes. I always use ABH Dipbrow religiously, i can’t fault it one bit. And i then carve them out with a little concealer to neaten them up.
Coming to the exciting bit which i can’t wait to tell you. But first base. To prime my eyes i used concealer, set it with a white eyeshadow and used two eyeshadow palettes. For the darker outer eyeshadow i used my Mac burgundy time 9 and for the rest i used a primark palette which literally looks the same although the shades are slightly different. But anyway, this palette was so cheap and worked so well. It was like, £2.50. Say whaaaat?! I actually really loved it even though i thought it would be really rubbish. If you’re ever in Primark and spot it i highly recommend buying! Their makeup has been amazing so far. Apart from the eyelash glue of course haha. For mascara i used the Seventeen long lash and voila thats my eyes done.
Lastly, i used the Beauty UK Lips Matter liquid lipstick in the shade Shake Your Plum.
