My Glam Makeup Look

HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR YOU GORGEOUS LOT!

Hey loves, sorry I’ve been a little quite since the new year. It’s been a stressful time because my blog has had yet more tech issues, this time with it being jetpack. But here i am! I know New Years is gone now but i really wanted to share with you my makeup look i created to celebrate the New Year in style.

So here goes!

Face

To start this look i primed my face using the Yves Saint Laurent Touch Eclat Primer, it’s a cult fave of mine. I absolutely love how it leaves my skin feeling and looking.

For foundation i used the Milani 2 in 1 foundation. It was a Christmas prezzie from my boyfriend, i have fallen in love with it and how it looks. I’m not kidding when i say it covers EVERYTHING. My skin has never looked so darn flawless. I didn’t even need to conceal my blemishes, they were already gone!

I brightened my under eyes using an essence concealer i got for £2.50, it’s such a good one. I love the coverage and how effortlessly it blends.

I set all of this using the Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish loose powder. Wow that’s quite a tongue teaser. It’s a fab powder, not too cakey and has a lovely matte finish to it.

As always i contoured using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, now i know it’s a bronzer but it is such a wonderful cool toned shade to use. I highly recommend!

Lastly for my face is highlight, the key to a glowing face. Also my fave thing about doing my makeup. To highlight i used the Mac Soft And Gentle. la la love it!

Eyes

For my eyebrows i used the ABH Dipbrow Pomade, what changes? I love this product and couldn’t imagine using anything else. I’m set in my ways you could say. (i also carved my eyebrows using some of the same concealer, this gives the perfect neat look)

Now for the best part, Eyeshadow.

To create most of this look i used the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette, mainly sticking to the two red / brown shades and the cream shade. for my eyelids i used the Graftobian Glitter Gel. It’s a lush silvery colour and is so so easy to apply. For a more heavier look you need to build it up a little. I also smoked out my under eyes with the burnt orange / red shade. I also added a little black shadow on the outer edge.

To create a winged liner i used the No7 Stay Perfect Liquid Eyeliner, it was my first time using it and i think i might just be in love. It’s so easy to use.

To finish the eyes i used a pair of falsies i bought in a pack of six on Ebay, they were like £3.00! If you want the link then let me know!

I then used mascara on my top and bottom lashes, for this i used the Seventeen Long Lash Mascara.

Lips

To give my lips a little love and moisture i used the Sugar Baby Lip balm (see review here).
I then applied my new and wonderful Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick in the shade Celebrity Skin, another gift from Christmas. I seriously love it and i’m already planning on buying the whole collection!
