My current fresh, dewy makeup routine for spring.

March 20, 2016

Hey pretty!

Happy sunday! The start of spring is finally here which means only one thing, one step closer to summer, woo! Also happy international happiness day, wow that’s a tongue twister, golly gosh.

So today i thought i would do a spring makeup look. I’m all about that glowing, dewy skin. Okay, let’s be perfectly honest.. I wear looks like this ALOT. I’d call it a fall look if it was autumn. Terrible. But in my defence it is a pretty versatile look. I think when spring comes and the suns shining more, a nice fresh, glowing face kind of represents that sunshine and  prettiness of all the flowers blossoming and.. ok i’m rambling and it’s most likely just me. Please tell me i’m not the only one?! Oh lord, relieve my mind from the craziness!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how cute my hair looks?! I feel oh so elegant (until i open my mouth)

For my face i used the following products, can i just say that the Rimmel clear complexion powder is just wonderful. I’ve been finding powders really drying on my under eyes so i invested in this one because its super cheap at Β£3.99. I applied using a dampened beauty blender to add some moisture. It works for me perfectly. (Abbeys tip of the day right there) The other items i’ve raved about several times and to be honest i don’t want to babble.

Foundation: Chanel Vita lumiere
Concealer: Maybelline eraser eye
Powder: Rimmel clear complexion powder
Contour: Smash box shape matters palette contour shade
Highlighter: Mary loumanizer by The Balm

For Eyes i used the following products. Again the only new item for me is the palette by Carli Bybel which i reviewed yesterday, check it out! I used like 4 shades and ahhh they’re gorgeous. I always use a darker shade as a transition, and another in the crease. Following with a lighter shimmery shade on my lids. I keep it simple instead of all that jazz.

Eyeshadow base: Mac soft ochre paint pot.
Eyeshadow: Carli Bybel palette
Mascara: Benefit Bad Gal
Eyeliner: Rimmel glam eyes
Brows: Smashbox shape matters palette (Darkest eyebrow powder)

And for Lips i used : NYX soft matte lip cream in Morocco. (Always going to be my fave)

Look how cute i’m trying to be guys?! Makes a change for me not to be pouting and looking so serious! Like butter wouldn’t melt heh.

Let me know what you think, comment like follow. You know the drill gorgeous! Until tuesday, farewell my beauties!

A x

You look so pretty! And your skin looks flawless! I have always been thinking about purchasing the Chanel Vita Lumiere foundation, but I am torn between that and NARS Sheer Glow. What would you recommend?
Oh, and the lipstick is GORGEOUS!
