Today i popped into town with my wonderful boyfriend. I bought a few little things and got some lunch at this really cute little cafe. I must say, i do love going to small cafes that are quaint and pretty more than i do going to a busy costa which is overcrowded, loud and very hot or something. It was nice to spend some quality time with James and have a bliss afternoon. Whilst in town i bought a few things from Superdrug, Boots and Primark. As it says in the title, this is only a mini haul. I didn’t spent a lot of money because i’m trying to save. (emphasis the trying!) But there was a few things i needed. (Really wanted because it’s pretty or new) Please tell me i’m not the only one who does this?!
- Batiste dry shampoo – I must say the main reason i picked this one up is because it darn it was so cute,it has little russian dolls and love hearts all over it and was only £1.99 too! It wasn’t a travel size one either so a bargain i say! I do love a good dry shampoo and batiste is the only one i really use. I’ve tried others but come on, they’re not quite the same as this quirky, lush brand. They always leave my hair smelling so lush and fresh. Can’t fault it, if you’ve not tried it before then what you waiting for girl, its a handbag must!
- Collection 2000 Primed and ready reviving & anti fatigue illuminating primer in cool rose. And breathe. Gosh thats a long name! These primers are pretty new, i’ve been waiting for them to launch in anticipation and now i’ve got my hands on one i am over the moon. At £3.99 you can’t go wrong. How amazing is that price?! Now lets talk dupes! As you know, yesterdays post was about January faves. One of which was the Benefit that gal brightening primer. This is incredibly similar to that. It feels just as hydrating and does the same thing. And the price difference is craaaaazy!
- Barry M lip liner – I’m unsure of the name of the colour but it’s like a burgundy purple shade. It was £2.99 and that price impressed me! A lot of lipliners are overpriced for what they are and this is just as good. My reason for buying is because i’ve seen a lot of beauty gurus use a lipliner all over instead of lipstick and i wanted to have a go. I must say after trying earlier, it does last a lot longer than lipstick! Try it girls, let me know what you think!
I only bought one item from boots. I could have bought so much more but i resisted temptation! Its another new product which i saw, loved the look of and needed to try. It’s the Bourjois City Radiance skin protecting foundation. I haven’t tried this foundation yet but i can’t wait to tomorrow morning. It’s meant to be brightening, fresh and even complexion, boost radiance, spf 30 and has anti pollution properties. Wow i sure hope it lives up to the expectation. It sounds so great right?! We don’t realise the damage our skin gets from pollution and uv rays. So something thats meant to help with it? I’ll take it! It sounds perfect for summer, i think spf 30 is quite high isn’t it? Also it’s packing is really pretty, and pink! B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L
The other day i was reading Look magazine and it featured a printed sweater, when i saw i t was from Primark i was like whaaaat?! I do like primary but a lot of their sweaters/ hoodies have harry potter potter or Mickey mouse printed on them. Don’t get me wrong it’s cute and stuff. But for me personally i wouldn’t wear it in public because it isn’t me. Like i love graphic prints and logos but i don’t really like Harry Potter and Mickey Mouse is kind of not something i really obsess over. I am not slating them in any way i just wouldn’t wear it myself, we are all aloud our style preferences. Anyway after seeing that in LOOK i decided to try finding it, I couldn’t find the exact one (Sad times) But i did find one i thought was cute for lazy days and when i simply want to be comfy and casual. And it was only £5 which was a bargain, that was full price too! Its grey with a pink heart and some writing, french i think!
Let me know what you think, do you have any of these products?!
Love and hugs,
