January can be a bit of a slow, sluggish month but it does have it’s pros. One being the January Sales, where all the things we’ve been wanting so badly is knocked down in price. What could possibly be better?
I went away for a night with my mum on Wednesday and of course we went shopping. It was a little bit of retail therapy and chills kinda thing. We spent all day going through shops and wishing we could bye everything that took our fancy. I did buy a few gorgeous bits and bobs and thought i would share with you my finds. A lot of which are absolute bargains and you might just be a little jelly (i’m sorry!)
The first shop we went into was Boots because it was the first one open. Yes we was shopping that early! We had to catch a 7am bus to be up there for 8.20 am. I’m so glad we did go here so early though because the sales assistant was just putting out a load of reduced items which were seriously unbelievably cheap. I picked up two Umberto Giannini product, one being the Extreme Hold Hairspray and the other being the Plump and Sexy Volume Conditioner. Both from the Glam Hair Range and both £1.00 each! I was literally shook.
I also picked up the the Trevor Sorbie Straight Shampoo, again for only £1.00. I was seriously thrilled because I’ve used this brand before and absolutely loved them, you can never go wrong with a good shampoo either. I can’t wait to try this one.
I picked up a Mark Hill Backcomb which i think was discontinued because i can’t find it online. Again for £1.00. My hair is the thinnest, flattest hair imaginable so i wasn’t exactly gonna say no to this one. I’m praying it’s gonna give my hair that oomph it so desperatly needs.
Lastly i picked up one of the Missguided gift sets which was half price. I obviously had to have it because it was unicorn related. (I’m seriously obsessed) It comes with some bubble bath which is labelled as ‘Unicorn bubbles’ haha, i love it so much! They’re so glittery and PINK! It also comes with two diamond shaped bath bombs. I’m excited to have a magical bath tonight, yaaaaas!
My mum also treated me to two lippies which are quite similar but both gorgeous shades. The first one is from Topshop, it was £2.00 when my mum bought it. It reminds me a lot of the Mac shade Heroine which my mum used to love me wearing hence she bought me this one.
The second lipstick she bought me was from Mac, it was 30% off making it £12! It’s the shade Leap Of Faith from the Nut Cracker collection. It’s a little darker and not as vibrant as the Topshop one. both shades are stunning, i cannot wait to take them for a ride! Heheh
And that’s everything, hope you enjoyed reading! What did you buy in the sales? Don’t forget to comment below.
Have a fab Sunday!
