Today’s post is a pretty big deal to me. In the whole 15 months I’ve been blogging, this is the biggest PR package i have ever received. I was astonished and couldn’t quite believe it. My first initial thoughts were that these products look amazing. They’re perfectly packaged and look absolutely gorgeous.
When trying each thing i was so wowed by the quality and effect it had. The eyeshadow and Lip Palettes were perfectly pigmented. I could create gorgeous looks Using these two alone. They were based around my favourite colours which is the main reason i loved them so much. The eyeshadow especially reminded me of the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette which is my go to for eyeshadows. I’ve got a feeling this could be my new go to palette. I loved the shimmery shades especially.
The Glow-y Powders were incredible. Highlighter has to be my most favourite part of makeup, it’s the finishing touches to any makeup look. The two highlighters were gorgeous on and left a gorgeous subtle glow which could be more intense if you applied a little more. The Cheek Powder was pigmented and a gorgeous shade but not something i would use often as i’m not a blusher kind of gal.
The Lower Lash Mascara was a godsend. I always find mascara brushes to big to use on my lower lashes and i end up with mascara blotches everywhere. This Mascara is specially designed for lower lashes, it has a really tiny thin applicator which makes life ten times easier when applying.
As you know i love the Brow Tamer which i have previously reviewed, you can read that here.
The Strobe & Bronze and the Strobe & Sculpt Palettes were beautiful, pigmented and easy to apply with the super soft Strobe & Sculpt Duo Brush. Some of the shades were just a little too dark for my liking but if used lightly really looked perfect for summer when you want to release your inner bronzed goddess.
The Double Cleanse was something that really intrigued me. Personally i have never double cleansed in my life, i didn’t even know that was a thing? It certainly made my skin feel a whole lot cleaner and there was no traces of makeup left on my skin. I especially loved the solid cleansing oil because i love how silky smooth it left my skin. Not to mention they smelt amazing. I only use this in the evening as that’s when my skin needs the deep cleanse after wearing makeup all day.
Overall i really enjoyed trying and using these gorgeous products, some were not things i’d usually use but i still liked trying new things and i was pleasantly surprised. i would highly recommend trying Pixi products, they’re superb. The quality and packaging is insanely brilliant.
