Going Au Naturale With Dr Botanicals

Todays post is all about Dr Botanicals.

It’s no secret that a vast majority of the skin care products we use contain certain ingredients which can cause more harm than good, especially if you have sensitive skin like I do. More recently I’ve become so careful on what products I use on my face because I seem to have developed quite sensitive skin. Basically I’ve had to stop using some products so that my skin doesn’t go red or my eczema / whatever it is doesn’t get any worse.

The reason I’m telling you all this is because I’ve been testing out a range by Dr Botanicals which is organic and completely paraben and preservative free. There’s no harsh ingredients which will benefit your skin. They recently contacted me asking if I’d like to review their latest products. I always get excited to try new things and switching up my routines so of course I said yeah!

The two products I received were the Japanese Orange Fast Acting Overnight Restoring Mask.
And also the Japanese Orange Superfood Facial Oil which are from their new Japanese Orange Range if you hadn’t already noticed!

Japanese Orange Fast Acting Overnight Restoring Makeup.

This mask has a seriously long name, it makes it sound so fancy and professional which in a way I love. It sounds so mysterious. The packaging of both these products are amazing. They come in a cardboard kind of material box and both products are mad of glass, to me I think this makes them seem so much more luxurious. I’m weird like that!

I love it because there’s no need to wash it off (I’m also super lazy) You simply apply a thin layer at night, before bed and by the morning you’re skin feel  a-m-a-z-i-n-g. It is a creamy, thick texture and has that oily feel to touch. It basically screams ‘I’m gonna make your skin feel amazing girl!’ But seriously, it makes your skin feel seriously soft and healthy. And can I just say both these products smell so divine. Like oranges (well that one was obvious) It’s so fresh and mmmmm.

Japanese Orange Superfood Facial Oil

I absolutely love this facial oil. Straight up, it’s the best I’ve ever used. I’ve been so addicted to this, using it both morning and night religiously. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to use twice a day but I live by it. When people think of facial oils, oily slippery liquid springs to mind. But this isn’t like that whatsoever, it leaves the skin feeling plump, if you know what I mean. I’ve basically found my new holy grail matched with the overnight mask they’re a dream team in heaven. My skin feels seriously good right now. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

These products are amazing, I don’t think I’ve ever been so in love with a PR sample as much as I am with these. They’re gorgeous, I can’t get over how much I adore them. The fact they’re 100% natural makes it ten times better. I love the whole idea of a product that’s completely chemical free and is only made with the good stuff.

Have you ever tried Dr Botanicals? Make sure to comment!
