Hey my love!
Todays post is bought to you thanks to Busy B planners who kindly sent me some goodies to share with you a few weeks ago. Those being the weekly planner and the budget book. These two items have literally made my life 10 x easier! They’re god sends if like me you’re unorganised and not exactly the greatest at saving money, but hey new makeup is worth being poor right? Or is that just me.. Oh.
Firstly the weekly planner. It comes with two magnets and you can tear them off and stick on the fridge, pinboard basically wherever you want too. Theres enough space to write more than one thing two! I use mine to write what blog post i’m going to write on each day and stick it on the wall above my desk. It makes my life so much more simple. I just look at what i’m posting that day and go ahead and do it. But they’d be fab for any kind of list. Whether it’s a family planner for meetings, appointments etc or work hours. Whatever you want and need it to be for!
Now let’s talk about the budgeting book, not gonna lie this is a real game changer. It’s quite confusing to begin with if like me you get confused easily but you soon pick it up and you’re away!
You start by writing in your personal details and important numbers which is great for if you need to quote them on the phone or to a customer adviser for example. Instead of struggling to find your NI number, you’ve already got it to hand, perfecto!
Then you get to the important part, categorised months which all have the same pages. So you write in your regular income, any other income any bills that will be going out of your account and all your spending. So you can write how much you’ve spent and how much you have left. Then, at the end of the month you write your total income, total outgoings, the amount carried over and your remaining balance. You basically repeat this every month and voila, your budgeting just got to a whole new level. Yes it’s confusing to begin with but you get the hang of it and eventually you start to become an organised goddess!
I love how pretty these are too, they have a real shabby chic kind of look about them and go perfect with white! They are just perfect, i don’t know where i’d be without my planner and budget book, for over a month they’ve keep me more organised that i was, and trust me i’m known for my bad org haha!
I’d love to hear what you think and if i’m not the only one who needs a little organisation in my life. I can’t be the only one?!?!
