Today i thought i’d share with you this look i created inspired by makeup in the 90’s. The best years ever!! (I was born heh heh) It’s the kind of look i saw from photos of my mum when she was younger, and a sneak peek on good old trusty google for some visual on what was popular back then! Also this makeup look is topped with some super cute accessories to complete the look (H&M). Hope you enjoy reading!
Let’s get started!!
For my base i used the smash box hydrating primer which is a cult fave of mine. I’ve used it for over a year and it’s never let me down. I then applied my Loreal Lumi Magique foundation using a buffing brush from Jessops and then concealed my under eyes, forehead and chin using the Maybelline eraser eye, to blend that in i used the pointy edge of my real techniques blending sponge. I set it all using the Nars pressed powder, which i’m la la loving!!. To contour i used the Benefit Hoola bronzer and to highlight i used the Mac soft and gentle highlighter with a real techniques setting brush because it works like a dream!
For my brows i done the same old, using my ABH dip brow pomade with my estee lauder brow brush which is getting a little worn out now! I then carved them out using a little concealer. For eyeshadow i’ve been experimenting with the Makeup Revolution Eyes Like Angels palette. I used a peach shade to transition, pink shades for the crease and smoked it out. I then used some white on my eyelids. For mascara i used the Rimmel super curler mascara. I was going to apply false lashes but i had none, sad times! 🙁
Lastly, my lips. For colour i used the Freedom Pro Butter lipgloss in the shade TGIF. It’s a strange one, comes off easy but a gorgeous colour.
Hope you like it, don’t forget to comment what you think!
